ROBERT Q. CATON, 77, of Little Rock, died Thursday, April 6, 2006.
He was born in Lonoke.
Caton was an active member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired ironworker with Local 321, and was a member of Albert Pike Lodge #714, also a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; children, Walter Caton, Alfred Caton, Billy Caton, Glenda McGinty; two step-sons, Doyne Perry and Mike Perry; a stepdaughter, Shirlene Jones; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother, Thomas Henry Caton.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Caton; sister, Addie Mae Caton; brothers, Virgil, Bill, Jim and Floyd.
The funeral service was Saturday, April 8, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Hawkins officiating. Interment was in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
