Bobby Bond, age 84 of Warren, AR passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Belle View Estates Nursing Home in Monticello, AR. He was born September 24, 1937 in Ashley County, AR to the late Willie and Mary Bond.
Bobby worked as a millwright most of his life. He loved to camp, fish, and work in his shop behind the house. Bobby loved to talk to anyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years; Hazel Nichols Williams Bond whom he married May 2, 1970, a brother; Frank Bond, a sister; Francis Reeves and 3 great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters; Deborah Francis (Charles) of Pine Bluff, AR and Lisa Riles of Franklin, NC, son; Bobby Bond, Jr. (Michelle) of Pine Bluff, AR and a sister; Peggy Fontenot (Don) of Collinston, LA. Step-children; Danny Williams (Audrey) of Warren, AR, Sandra Rawls (Jody) of Warren, AR, Brenda Forrest (Danny) of Beebe, AR, Linda Sinclair of Magnolia, AR, and Teresa Williams (Jimmy) of Warren, AR, 8 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Oakland Cemetery with Vernon Colvin, II. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Danny Forrest, Terry Forrest, Jerry Forrest, Jody Rawls, Randy Rawls and Jimmy Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Francis and Rickey Loomis.
