Florence Faye Eskridge, 91, of Little Rock was united with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 22, 2007. She was born June 4, 1915 in Fort Smith to the late John and Blanche Mawson. Florence was a member of Christ Lutheran Church for over 50 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "MeMa."
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Eskridge; son, David Eskridge; two brothers; three sisters; and her twin sister, Flora Thurston.
She is survived by a son, Damon (Frances) Eskridge of Little Rock; a daughter, Sharon (Butch) Baxley of Greenbrier; four grandchildren, Brian (Randi) Eskridge of Benton, Mark (Katie) Eskridge of Seattle, Washington, Stephanie (Eric) Davis of Arkadelphia, and Bruce Baxley of Searcy; and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2007 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
