Mrs. Carrie Janell Holland, 88 of Hamburg, AR, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was a native of McGehee, AR, was a homemaker, a former employee of Hamburg Shirt Factory and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Holland, one son, Samuel Holland, Jr., her parents, William & Julie Morlock Lovett, three brothers: Bill, Gene & Carlton Lovett. Janell was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She loved working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by three sons: Tommy Holland (Nina) of Watertown, NY, William Holland, (Teresa) of Hamburg, AR & Allen Holland (Tina) of Fountain Hill, AR, one daughter, Mary Savage (Bob) of Leavenworth, KS, one brother Raymond Lovett (Maxine) of Hamburg, AR, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Endel, officiating. Pallbearers are Ralph Parker, Tommy Hollis, Kenneth Williams, W.M. Wigley, Henry Bierbaum & Jimmy Murphy. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 4-6 pm in the chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home.
