POCOLA Pershing Woodrow "Per" Gray, 88, of Pocola died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in Pocola. He was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Pocola. He was salesman for Fort Smith Paper Co., a member and treasurer of First United Methodist Church in Pocola, a retired dairy man, a member of Black Diamond Lodge No. 549 in Bonanza, a 32nd degree Mason and Scottish Rite and member of the Pocola School Board. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Pocola with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola. He is survived by his wife, Frances; a daughter, Ella Reaves of Pocola; two sisters, Frances Long of Illinois and Ollie Martindale of White Bluff; two brothers, Ronald and Hershel Gray, both of Pocola; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Stan Gray, Jack and Doug Been, Gaylord Wann, Andy Weant and Chuck Tiedemann.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Pocola Methodist Sunday school class.

Frances Ferrell Gray, 94, of Pocola, OK passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR. Frances was born January 23, 1921 to Elvis & Jennie (Ramsey) Cruson.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pocola, OK. She played the piano. She worked at McKesson Wholesale Drug. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ella Jane Reaves; sister, Alice Marie.
Survivors include her son in law; grandson; two great grandchildren; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, OK with Nikki Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Fort Smith, AR. Pallbearers will be Doug Been, Andy Wentz, Mike Bryant, Stan Gray, Mike Jones and Chuck Tiedmann. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Cole, Jack Been and Frances’ Sunday School Class.
