*When Minnie Louise Shadle was born on October 29, 1922, in McCrory, Arkansas, her father, Enoch, was 26, and her mother, Alma, was 15. She married Carl Henry Brown on September 13, 1941. They had two children during their marriage. She died on February 19, 2010, at the age of 87.
