*When Murray David Maples Sr. was born on December 13, 1936, his father, Sam, was 30 and his mother, Helen, was 28. He married Mildred E. Maples on September 10, 1960, in Pulaski, Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on February 13, 2003, at the age of 66.
