Amelia Darlene "Minnie" Wawak Varnedare
December 23, 1944 — April 7, 2016
*Obituary
Amelia "Minnie" Darlene Varnedare, 71, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 7th, 2016. This courageous, strong woman, who loved life, lost her battle with cancer but was surrounded by family and friends. She loved playing Bingo with her buddies and fishing with her love, Johnnie. If you asked her what meant the most to her, she would say she was so proud of all her children.
Amy was born on December 23, 1944, to Anna F. Wawak and Richard E. Wawak. She is survived by her beloved husband, Johnnie, her adoring children Carol Mathenia and husband Michael, Amanda Black and husband Hal, Ronald Threlkeld and wife (and favorite daughter-in-law) Kelly, Elanna Lee and husband Chris, three sisters, Jeannie Sanders, Nancy Evans, and Deana Wawak, 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
They say stars shine bright only in the sky. Well now Heaven has its own "STAR." We will all miss this wonderful woman, her smile, her laugh, and most of all, her love!
