June 18, 1926 - April 22, 2012
Monty "Gene" Girard, 85, of Fort Smith died Sunday, April 22, 2012, in his home.
He was born in Fort Smith to Phillip and Willie Girard.
He was retired from the research and development department at Rheem Manufacturing and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Rheem Management Club.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorothy "Charlene" Girard of the home; one daughter Ginger Fink of Republic, MO; two sons, Charles Girard of Fort smith, AR and Stanley Girard of Sarasota, FL; one sister Lillian Foster of Waterford, CA; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services are 1:00PM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
