*Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Lowdermilk, age 82 years passed away Saturday night at nine o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. J. Matheny at Batesville. Mrs. Lowdermilk lived for many years in Prescott and was well known and loved by a large circle of friends. She is survived by a son, Henry Slaughter, Prescott; two daughters, Mrs. I. J. Matheny, Batesville and Mrs. T. C. Duke, Chicago. The remains arrived in Prescott Monday and the funeral was at De Ann cemetery, conducted by Rev. J. A. Sage. (Nevada County Picayune - September 14, 1922)
