CAMDEN, April 22 - Mrs. Cora Holmes Bauerlein, aged 50, wife of Colonel Louis Bauerlein, past grand master of the Masons of Arkansas, died Tuesday morning after a short illness. Mrs. Bauerlein was born in Camden, September 10, 1870, and lived here practically all her life. She married Louis Bauerlein of Camden on February 10, 1890. The deceased is survived by her husband, two daughters, Miss Ida Louise Bauerlein and Mrs. Lamar Smead of this city, and one brother, Will Holmes of Hot Springs. Funeral services were held at St. John's Episcopal Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Yeager of Warren. Interment was at Greenwood cemetery. (Arkansas Gazette - April 22, 1921)
