Clarence William "Joe" Flemings, 74, of Magazine died Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Tulsa.

He retired as a barber and horse trainer. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Magazine and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Funeral was 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Magazine with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park of Fort Smith under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sons, Joe Dale Flemings of Tulsa and Danny Gene Flemings of Denver; two sisters, Joyce Garner and Mary Edmonds, both of Pryor, Okla.; two brothers, Tommy of Bartlesville, Okla., and John of Nowata, Okla.; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Lance Brown, Harold Beck, Ronnie Youkom, Jim Goodman, Gene Jones and Glen Catlett.
