Tara Renee’ Rushing Watts, 29, left this life on May 17, 2016. She was born on July 7, 1986, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Cliff and Laurie (Nobles) Rushing.

Tara was a dual graduate from Fountain Lake High School and the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science and Arts, with the class of 2004. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and was an alumnus of Pi Beta Phi Sorority.

On August 4, 2007 she was united in marriage to First Lieutenant Thomas James Watts II of the United States Marine Corps. They have been stationed in Twentynine Palms and Camp Pendleton, California, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA, and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC, where Tara was very active in the Marine Spouse Network. She was a leader in the MOP’s (Mothers of Preschool) in North Carolina, and helped young mothers in balancing motherhood and military life. She was also a sales representative for Premier Jewelry.

She was a loving mother and wife, and having a happy family was her ultimate goal in life. Tara enjoyed cooking, crafts, scrapbooking, knitting, and gardening. Her contagious smile would light up a room as soon as she entered.

Tara is preceded in death by her grandfather Johnny Nobles.

Loving survivors include her husband Thomas Watts, strapping young sons Tommy Noble and Taylor Patrick, and her beautiful daughter Tenley Grace. Also left to cherish her memory are her parents Cliff and Laurie Rushing; brother Kevin Rushing; grandmother Lorna Nobles; grandparents Ray and Lynn Rushing; great grandmother, Odelle Nobles; mother and father in law, Tammy and Patrick Marlow; aunt and uncle John and Missy Gibson; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Tara’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene in Hot Springs with Pastor Ken Carney officiating.

Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.

There has been a memorial fund established at Citizen's Bank under the title "Watts Children College Fund."
