Shelly Allen, 45 of Pocahontas, died Monday July 8, 2024 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

She was born August 23, 1978 in Pocahontas, AR to Tommy Carr & Diane Moody Carr. She was a loving daughter and friend to many. She worked in a factory and for Walmart. She loved all animals, especially her dog, Bones. She was a wrestling fan and loved doing all kinds of crafts. Shelly attended New Life Cathedral.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Carr; grandparents, William and Mozell Moody; aunt, Geneva Moody; and favorite aunt, Vanessa Moody.

Shelly is survived by her mother, Diane Carr of Pocahontas; brother, Deven (Brenna) Carr of Pocahontas; aunts, Denise Ludwig of Mammoth Spring and Patty Rash of Pocahontas; cousins, Hunter (December) Ludwig and Lucas (Paula) Shultz; and her dog, Bones.

A committal will be held Friday July 12, 2024 at 2:00PM at Crossroads Cemetery in Portia, under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, Arkansas.
