Mrs. Lucille Harris Allen, 87, of Jonesboro died Monday at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.

Born in Smithville, she lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area and attended Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jonesboro. She was also a member of Revival Tabernacle in Bono.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Stooksberry and Joyce Quattlebaum, both of Jonesboro; five stepsons, Earnest Allen of Minturn, Tommy Allen of BeeBranch, Carlos Allen of Bismark, and Bill Allen and Thaddeus Allen, both of Paragould; four stepdaughters, Georgial Freet, Glendola Wilson, and Shelby Bates, all of Hot Springs, and Francis Whaley of Clover Bend; four grandchildren; 30 stepgrandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Harris; her second husband, Frank Allen; one daughter, Jessie Bryant; and two stepchildren, Mary Clark and Jerry Allen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 in the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Rev. Dub Holt and Rick Dowden officiating. Burial will be in Whittaker Cemetery near Walnut Ridge.
Active pallbearers will be Ernest "Bo" Bryant Jr., Alan Whaley, Michael Marlin, Norman Smith, Tony Crider and Chris Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Hurst, Johnny Stooksberry, Leon Hurst, Cornelius Oden, Lawrence Gann, Jimmy Seals, Ray Hall and Les Bryant.

Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
