Richard Leisman, 84, of Maumelle, Arkansas died on December 27, 2015.
He was born June 25, 1931 to the late Ruth and Herman Leisman in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where he was in ROTC. After graduating, he went into the Airforce to pursue his dream of flying. He eventually ended up at Little Rock Air Force from Korea. It was there that he met the love of his life, Carolyn “Bojjie” Morgan, a nurse from Spadra, Arkansas. They married at LRAFB Chapel in 1958 and had two children, Martha Kay and Eric Morgan. After many transfers, Dick ended his Airforce career at Barksdale Airforce Base as a B-52 pilot. They eventually came back to Arkansas and lived in Maumelle for 30 years. He will be remembered as a kind, loyal and generous person.
He is survived by his wife, children and sister, Katherine Harkins (John) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law Rachel Johnson (Harold) of Clarksville, Barbara Morgan of Clarksville and two nieces and nine nephews that he adored.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, where Richard is a charter member.
Services are 12:00 P.M., Monday, January 4, 2016 at Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church, 449 Millwood Circle, Maumelle, Arkansas 72113.
Entombment will be at 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Homes, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas

Margaret Carolyn ''Bojjie'' Leisman, 86, of Maumelle, passed away on April 3, 2020. She was born in Spadra, AR to the late Clyde ''Chic'' and Nelle Morgan. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leisman; son, Eric Leisman; brother, Clyde Morgan; and sister, Ruth Barnham. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Kay Leisman; sister, Rachel ''Baba'' Johnson; and 10 nieces and nephews that she adored as well as two sisters-in-law, Katherine Harkins and Barbara Morgan.
After graduation from Clarksville High School and Baptist Nursing School in Little Rock, Carolyn married Major Richard Leisman in 1958 and was a faithful military wife. They had many stops but eventually came back to Maumelle and settled in. Carolyn was a member of Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church in Maumelle. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend who will be missed.
Private entombment will take place at Riverwood Memorial Garden in Maumelle. A public Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, when we can all come together again.
