March 6, 1935 - April 12, 2007
Joyce Rider Wilson, 72, of Little Rock, formerly of Charlotte died Thursday, April 12, 2007.
She was born March 6, 1935 in Charlotte and was the daughter of Arthur Rider and Lola Winchester Rider.
Joyce graduated from Draughns School of Business in Little Rock. She retired from Dillard's Corporate Offices in the Accounting Department after 20 years of service. She really loved her family and she liked to sew. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three sons: Charles Wayne Wilson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Gerald Eugene Wilson also of Little Rock, and Keith Edwin Wilson of Alexander, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Caroline Nicole Wilson, Michael Wilson, Lauren Wilson, Alyssa Wilson and Kristi Wilson; two brothers: Noel Edwin Rider of Fouke, Arkansas and Obie Jr. Rider of New Hope, Arkansas; five sisters: Frances Satterwhite of Cave City, Arkansas, Bettye White of Texarkana, Texas, Janet Grisham of Wichita, Kansas, Lena Robertson of Batesville and Mervelene Tatum of Jacksonville, Arkansas. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers: Chester Rider, Durward Rider and William Rider; two sisters: Robbie Stafford and Dorothy Sundberg.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel with Reverend Patrick Hancock officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Center Grove Cemetery in Charlotte under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City (870) 283-6602.
