Mrs. Lois Mae DeLaughter, age 86, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was born May 22, 1927, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to William Thomas and Mimme Jones Muex. Mrs. DeLaughter was a retired nurses aid, member of Boughton Baptist Church and was a avid Gardner and loved to sew.
Mrs. DeLaughter was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Julius N. “Jobby” DeLaughter Sr, and a brother and sister.
Mrs. DeLaughter is survived by her son Doc DeLaughter of Prescott, Arkansas, grandchildren, Shelly Norvell and Holly Findeisen both of Nacogdoches, Texas great-grandchildren, Tye Tatum, Madelyn Norvell and Cason Findeisen, and her beloved dog, Pluto.
Visitation for Mrs. DeLaughter will be 12:00 to 2:00pm, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Mrs. DeLaughter will be 2:00pm, Monday, April 28, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Johnson and Bro. John Bailey officinal burial will follow in the De Ann Cemetery in Prescott. Arrangements by Brazzel/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott.
