Jun 29, 1960 - Jun 29, 1960

Natalie Sue Richardson Dertinger, age 63, of Little Rock was born on June 29, 1960 and passed away on June 6, 2024 after a years-long battle with COPD and recent infections.

Natalie, “Nat” to many, was born to Don and Jane Richardson and lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas until her father’s military position took her family to locations such as New York, where Natalie attended Kindergarten, and Fremont, California, where she spent most of her youth.

She moved with her family back to Arkansas in the mid 1970s, where she birthed her first child, Joseph (Joe) Armes in November of 1976. In September of 1979, she gave birth to her second child—another son, Michael (Mike) Armes—in Louisiana. Then, over ten years later in February 1990, she birthed her final child, Rachel Armes, in Missouri.

A highly sensitive soul, Natalie loved gardening and animals, a passion she shared with her children. She had a natural talent for painting and poetry, the latter which her children Michael and Rachel share. Natalie could be stubborn (her family would probably chuckle at this statement), and she lived life her way to the end. She loved fiercely, and she loved people from all walks of life.

Natalie was preceded in death by her father, Don Richardson; mother, Jane Richardson; grandfather, Boyd Richardson; grandmother, Pearly Richardson; grandmother, Ince Richardson; grandmother, Pamela Yandle; aunt, Miggie Watson; aunt, Mary Eggers; and sister, Beth Jones, with whom she shared a birthday. She is survived by her sons and daughter, Joe, Michael, and Rachel Armes; her sister, Donna Ezell; her brothers, Lanny, David, and Paul Richardson; her grandchildren, Mila Goodwin and Isabelle Luebke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
