June 8, 1934 - December 28, 2016
Reverend Glynn David Craine, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in his home.
He was born on June 8, 1934 in Louisiana, MO, to Clarence and Mamie (Myers) Craine.
He was a minister of Harvest Time Church for 20 years. He was currently a member of Harvest Time Church and was in the Golden Harvesters. After retirement he continued his ministries of visiting shut-ins, hospitals, and nursing homes, which he considered the most important part of his ministry. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling, visiting all 50 states.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Victory Church with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum, under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley of the home; a daughter, Beth Blythe and her husband Ross of Fort Smith, AR; three sons, David Craine and his wife Kathy, Steve Craine, and Joe Craine and his wife Staci, all of Fort Smith, AR; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Weston Craine, Justin Blythe, Eric Blythe, Ross Blythe, Sr., Ross Blythe, Jr. and Doug Stoufer.
Shirley
October 23, 1935 - October 26, 2021
Shirley Frances Craine, 86, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Fort Smith.
She was born on October 23, 1935 in Corinth, MS to Harley and Pearl (Gann) Hight.
She was a classical piano music teacher and a member of The Bridge Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Rev. Glynn Craine.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Blythe and her husband Ross of Fort Smith; three sons, David Craine and his wife Kathy, Steve Craine and Joe Craine and his wife Staci all of Fort Smith; a sister, Suzette Pruitt of Corinth, MS and three brothers, Marvin, Wayne and Jerry all of Corinth, MS; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at The Bridge Church with entombment to follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Westin and Jantzen Craine, Justin, Eric and Ross Blythe and Chris Pruitt.
