Edna Mae (Cox) Oliver, of Arkoma, OK age 79, went to be with the lord on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Fort Smith.
She was born March 5, 1936 in Oklahoma City to the late James and Mandy Dunn.
She was of the Presbyterian Faith. She was a retired nurse's aide, having formerly worked at Brownwood and Rose Care Nursing Care Centers. She loved her family, her cats, and especially loved going to the casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Cox, her daughter Mary Ann Cox, Sister Betty Jo Gibson, brothers; Richard and Fred Dunn, brothers-in-law; Cotton and Bill Cox and sister-in-law Loretta Cox.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the directions of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her children; Linda Cooper of Fort Smith, Ellen Cox of Poteau, OK, Debbie Schalski and her husband Ricky of Arkoma, OK, Shirley Qualls and her husband of Oklahoma City, OK, Thomas Cox of Bonanza, AR, Brian Cox and his wife Chi of Fort Smith, Judy Rowe of Arkoma, OK, Billie Roberson of Poteau, OK, James Oliver of Fort Smith, and Jimmy Oliver of Fort Smith. She is survived by four brothers; Jimmy Dunn of McLoud, OK, Larry Dunn of Oklahoma City, OK, Harold Dunn of Broken Arrow, OK, and John Dunn of Texas, and her sister; Albie Dunn of Meeker, OK. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Winston and Steven Cox, Ricky Schalski, II and III, Randall Cornell, and Paul Schalski. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel and Reggie Qualls, and Ricky Schalski, Sr.
