*Obituary
Shiela Diane Koder, 72, of Paron, Arkansas went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 17, 2021. She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on April 11, 1949. Shiela married her soulmate, LeRoy Koder, on June 2, 1967 and went on to have three children.
Shiela is preceded in death by her father, Louis Garrett, her brother-in-law, Ronnie Koder, her mother-in-law, Bonnie Koder and her father-in-law, Frank Koder.
She is survived by her husband, LeRoy Koder; son, Brett Koder; daughter, Monica Koder; son, Dusty Koder (Angel); brother-in-law, Bill Koder (Blenda); sister-in-law, Bonita Winters (Jessie); granddaughter, Audrey Cason (Zach); grandson, Brody Koder; her two great-grandsons, Beau and Forrest “Odie” Cason; and countless other family members and many friends.
Shiela enjoyed spending time with her family the most. Her favorite things to do were watching Jeopardy, cross stitching and playing board games. Shiela thrived off of trivia and was truly a trivia buff.
Shiela was strong in her faith and lived to serve others. She raised her three children and watched over many other babies over her years on this earth. She was quick to step in when needed, never wanted for anything and loved with all she had. Many only knew her as Honey, a name that was given to her many years ago. With a name like that you know she was one of a kind. Honey was the prime example of what a mother and grandmother should be and lived to spoil all of them when she got the chance. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her children and grandchildren. Honey had just started her journey as a great grandmother and we know she would have been just as wonderful in that role. Shiela will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Graveside service held at 1:30 PM, Monday, November 22 at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Arkansas.
Shiela requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
