Madgie Taylor Mashburn, 87, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, April 5, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, a native of Paron and a member of the First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charlie D. Mashburn. Survivors include two sons, Buddy Mashburn of Long Island, New York, and James Mashburn of Los Angeles; three daughters, Geneva Partridge and Betty Holcomb, both of Hot Springs, and Charlene Perritt of Minden, Louisiana; two brothers, Eugene Taylor of Lindsay, California, and Milos Taylor of Hot Springs; four sisters, Anna Brooks of Paron, Lona Chadwick of Benton, Ruth Hill of Morgan Hill, California, and Dorothy Sanders of Royal; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Arrangements will be announced by Hot Springs Funeral Home. The family will be at 102 Hazel St. (from the Sentinel-Record, April 6, 1992)
