*Obituary

Mrs. Luda Chenault, aged seventy-one, died at her home in Paron, Tuesday, October 12. Surviving are her husband, E. N. Chenault of Paron; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Goodson of Little Rock, Mrs. Frank P. Hogue of Paron, and Mrs. Harold Wiley of Kansas City, Missouri; one say, Waylon Roberts of Little Rock; one half-sister, Goldie Guthridge of Black Springs, Arkansas; two half-brothers, Willie and Stewart of Black Springs.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at two p.m. at the North Fork Baptist church, Paron, by Rev. Taylor Stanfield of Little Rock. Burial will be in Fowler cemetery by Ashby Funeral Home. [from the Benton Courier, October 14, 1948, page 5]
