Betty Gail Collins, 65, of Fort Smith entered into rest on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, in Little Rock.
She was born Oct. 16, 1946, in Hackett to the late Merle and Leota Carroll.

She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Flanders Manufacturing.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Gene Herrington.

She is survived by her loving husband, David; four daughters, Melissa Taylor of Fort Smith, Lori Koch and husband Brian of Gardner, Kan., Sandra Stracener and husband James of Fort Smith and Tina Steel and husband Mike of Van Buren; two sons, Tommy Joe Herrington and wife Tammie of Crozet, Va., and Terry Herrington and wife Angel of Panama, Okla.; one sister, Murlene Williams of Fort Smith; one brother, Wayne Carroll of Muldrow; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.

Family will receive friends from 5-6:30 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Sam Collins, Tommy Joe Herrington, Travis Herrington and T.J. Herrington.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
