Rogie Leon Taylor, age 67, of Paron; passed away Sunday April 29, 2007. He was born on March 2, 1940 in Paron, Arkansas. Mr. Taylor was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of North Fork Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Virgil and Edna Clemmy Taylor and a brother, J. W. Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Kitchens Taylor of Paron; son, Tony Lee Taylor of Paron; daughter, Malindia Gail Shoptaw of Prattsville; five sisters, Billie Sue Hunt of Benton; Patsy Ruth Garrett of Benton, Barbara Gail Gilmore of Gurdon, Kathy Lynn Blake of Paron and Virgie Lynn Fischer of Lonsdale; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at North Fork Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Fowler Cemetery. Bro. Herbert Kitchens will be officiating.
