O.J. Chronister, 65, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was the manager of Hot Off the Press Newstand and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park of Fort Smith. He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Elmore of Huntington; five sons, Micky Reagan of Steprock, Randall Dollar of Muldrow, Kevin Beasley of Alaska, Michael Chronister of Fort Smith and Darren Elmore of Huntington.; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Harold and Lewis Harris, Terry Ransom, Darren Elmore, Randy Dollar and Michael Chronister.

May 10, 1950 - July 4, 2021

Bonnie Marcell Chronister Davis, 71, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on July 4, 2021.
She was born on May 10, 1950 in Hector, Arkansas to J.W. Kendrick and Bonnie Turney Kendrick.

Marcy had a kind heart. She worked for many years as a caregiver and a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association. Marcy enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She loved her fury babies, Patches and J.J.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband's, O.J Chronister and Tommy Davis; one brother, Buddy Kendrick.

Marcy is survived by one daughter, Pam Elmore and husband Darren of Atkins; two sons, Michael Chronister of Fort Smith, Randy Dollar and wife Rebecca of Muldrow, OK.; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 PM till 4 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
