Jimmie Lynnice Neal Haigwood Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas
January 3, 1948 - January 15, 2021
Jimmie Lynnice Neal Haigwood, daughter of Elizaeth Oliver Neal and the late James Neal, was born January 3, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee. She departed this life January 15, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 73 years and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Wayne Haigwood July 5, 1967 and together they raised four children. Jimmie spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend most of her working years were spent at Color Tile/Mannington Flooring in Melbourne and Townsend Poultry in Batesville. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Midway Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Wayne Haigwood of the home; three sons: Robert Haigwood of Mount Pleasant, Richard Haigwood of Melbourne and Justin Haigwood of Conway; one daughter: Angel Haigwood of Batesville; her mother: Elizabeth Oliver Neal of Melbourne; five grandchildren: Cody Haigwood, Elizabeth Haigwood, Brandi Haigwood-Downs, Alex Haigwood, K. J. Haigwood; six great grandchildren: Natalie, Bryor, Whitlie , Chloe, Drake and Wyatt Haigwood and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother: Carl Neal and one sister: Donny Hayes.
Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Caney Spring Cemetery with Gene Baird officiating. Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
