Ruby L. Choate, 92, of Van Buren, died December 26, 2007 in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, a retired cutter for Tucker Duck and Rubber in Fort Smith, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellis of Warner, OK and Cornelia Johnson of Claremore, OK; three sons, Kenneth McClendon of Cedarville, AR, Charles Choate of Claremore, OK, and Raymond Choate of Moore, OK; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ray Choate, Roy Choate, Paul Choate, Junior Ellis, Aaron Smith and Ruby L. Choate, 92, of Van Buren, died December 26, 2007 in Fort Smith.
