Caroline Sue Lewis, age 78, of the Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
She was born on April 13, 1944, in Little Rock, the daughter of Raymond W. Davis and Jacqueline G. Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy K. Guynes and her Uncle James Gilbert who she loved dearly.
Caroline was a faithful and Godly woman who loved the Lord and shared that love with her family and friends. She taught her children at a young age the importance trusting God and living a Godly life. Her greatest love was her children and granddaughter.
She was a retired nurse who loved spending time tending her flower garden and enjoying the view from her living room window with her basset hound, Pickles.
She is survived by her three children, son Anthony C. Hallenbeck and wife, Donna and her granddaughter Courtney of Kansas, son Robert W. Hallenbeck, and daughter Jacqueline S. Hallenbeck, both of Little Rock, her brothers Raymond W. Davis Jr., Henry Davis and wife Lava, and Bill Cheek, her sister Frances Lockert and husband Billy, and Louisa Bowman and husband Jimmy all of Little Rock, and brothers John Davis and wife Betty, of South Carolina, and Robert Guynes and wife Leigh of New York.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Smith Little Rock Funeral Home from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, with Pastor Ed Hinkson, officiating at the Hebron Baptist Church, Little Rock. Burial will follow at the Ida Mission Cemetery, Little Rock.
