*When James Blakley was born on April 6, 1915, his father, Gordon, was 29 and his mother, Bertha, was 16. He married Ella Bell Sykes on August 28, 1937. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 13, 1967, in Paron, Arkansas, at the age of 52, and was buried there.
*When Ella Bell Sykes was born on May 1, 1914, in Arkansas, her father, James, was 31, and her mother, Vester, was 25. She married James Blakley on August 28, 1937. They had three children during their marriage. She died on August 26, 1998, in Benton, Arkansas, at the age of 84.
