August 10, 1924 - October 24, 2004
Bura Bud Carver, 80, of New Blaine, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was co-owner and operator of B&G Auto Shop in Fort Smith for 40 years. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy Seebees. He was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of VFW Post 3261 in Gardena, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Pauline May Carver. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Lorine; one daughter, Joyce Loux of Pocola; one son, Bura Gene Carver of Fort Smith; two brothers, Jack Carver of Fayetteville and Bill Carver of Springdale; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one stepdaughter, two step-granddaughters and one step-great-grandchild.
