Marilyn S. Dailey, 84, of Little Rock passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2022 at Cavalier Healthcare of England, Ark.

Marilyn was born Oct. 25, 1937 in Marianna, Ark. to James and Emma Simpson and graduated from Marianna High School. The weekend before graduation, she married her husband of 64 years, Alvin L. Dailey who proceeded her in death just 11 months ago.

Marilyn raised three children: Keith Dailey (Margie) of England, Ark.; Carl Dailey (Kathi) of Louisburg, Kan.; Shaila Dailey Creekmore (Kevin) of Jonesboro; and was a proud Mamaw to her grandchildren: Andrea, Renee, Brittany, Krystel, Brandy, Tiffany, Jessie, Samuel, Tyler, and 15 great-grandchildren; and many others who she considered her own. Marilyn is also survived by her sister, Jackie Poole of Mountain View; brother, Larry (Virginia) Simpson of Greenwood; brother-in-law Bud Christian of Timbo; and brother-in-law Dale Dailey of Maumelle.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her brother: William Harold Simpson; sisters: Ima Jean Simpson, Maxine Christian, Wanda Ginn, Jimmie Sue Harris and Frankie Lou Head.

The family will host a Visitation that will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Crystal Hill Baptist Church with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00 AM.
