Paul McFarland, 72 of Fordyce, went to his heavenly home on June 25, 2021 at the Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born to the late Carl Abe McFarland and Beulah McCann McFarland Hall on December 25, 1948.

Paul graduated from Warren High School in 1967. He went on to become a successful store manager at Piggly Wiggly Supermarket in Warren, Arkansas for 32 years. Paul was a loving father, Papa, brother, Uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by many.

Surviving is a daughter, Paula Williams, who was his pride and joy, and husband Brian of El Dorado; his cherished grandchildren Tanner, Taylor, and Tess Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas. His sisters Shirley Tipton, Polly Hammonds (Larry), half-brother Raymond Hall, all of Fordyce, Arkansas; Peggy Cargile (Pete) of New Edinburg, Arkansas, and Becky Lynn (Gary) of Rye, Arkansas; his brother Doug Johnson (Sandra) of Sheridan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather Rufus Hall, brother-in-law Rex Tipton, and his grandparents Columbus B. & Vada Taylor McFarland and Elba McCann & Annie Ernest McCann.

His visitation will be Monday from 1PM until 2PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Arkansas with services following at 2PM at the funeral home. There will be a private burial at Moseley’s Cemetery at a later date.

Active pallbearers are Tanner Williams, Taylor Williams, Randy Turner, David White, and Doug Johnson.
