JoAnn Ford Roberts, 84, of Fountain Hill, died Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Hospice Comfort Care in Little Rock. Mrs. Roberts was a native of Ashley County, a resident of Fountain Hill for most of her life and a resident of Little Rock for the past year and a half. She graduated top of her class in 1955 from Fountain Hill High School and was honored to represent her class as Valedictorian. Mrs. Roberts was a Bank Teller at Farmers Bank for 26 years and a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She loved cooking, reading, and socializing.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Alvin Leon Roberts in 2011; her father, Otto Ford in 1996 and two brothers, Wayne Ford and Lloyd Ford.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Farmer Ford; a sister, Carolyn Ford, both of Little Rock; a brother, Charles Ford and wife, Joyce, of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Promise Land Cemetery with Bro. Bill Elton officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2222 Cottondale Lane #310, Little Rock, AR 72202.

Visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m., Wednesday at the cemetery.
