Martha Jane (Johnson) Craig, age 81 of Huttig, AR, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehab Center in Crossett, AR. She was born on May 16, 1931 in Bradley County, AR to the late William Cone and Mae Bernice Johnson. Martha was a crafty lady and enjoyed working on all sorts of arts and crafts. She also enjoyed to Crochet. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and their best friend, representing five generations of family.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Archie Vernon Craig; two brothers and by one sister.
Those left to cherish her memory include; five children, Eugene Craig and wife Gloria of Strong, Linda Hughes of Huttig, Jerry Craig and wife Claudia of Huntington, AR, Lisa Myers and husband James of DuBach, LA, Becky Toney and husband Donald of Huttig; eighteen grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Tommy Nash officiating. Burial will follow at Harper Springs Cemetery in Huttig, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado. The family will be at the Craig Home, 412 1st street in Huttig.
