*Obituary
Mrs. H. A. Sharpe, who was taken to the Shreveport Sanitarium on Wednesday, December 17th, suffering from palagra, died in that institution on Tuesday, December 30thy. The remains arrived in Huttig Thursday morning accompanied by her son, Lawrence, who was at her bedside when the end came. The funeral was held from the family residence on Fifth street at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, services at the house being conducted by Rev. J. R. Rushing, after which Rebekah Lodge No. 66 took charge and accompanied the remains to the cemetery and held the beautiful ritual ceremony of the order. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church and loved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and three children, Lawrence, Florence and Monette to mourn her death, who have the consolation of knowing that she is now at rest with her Maker where suffering is unknown.
