Shirley Maurine Deardorff Ward, age 77, of Clarendon, AR left this world to be with the Lord on April 17, 2024. Shirley was born to Eldon and Edith Deardorff on October 15, 1946 in Eugene, OR.

Shirley was survived by her loving husband of 57 years Kenneth Charles Ward of Clarendon, AR; a daughter Billie Jo Ward Hanley of White Hall, AR; 1 daughter-in-law Shelia Ward of Clarendon, AR; 1 brother Randy (Debbie) Deardorff of Marcola, OR; 1 sister Zelma Bailey of Sequim, OR; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Edith Deardorff; 3 brothers William (Bill) Joseph Mickalson, Raymond Mickalson, and Henry George (Mickey) Mickalson; 2 sons Joseph Lynn Ward and Casey Allen Ward.

Shirley Ward belonged to Family Worship Center PCG in Warren, AR. She was a God loving person. Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley Ward was the kindness woman you could know. Shirley was born and raised in Eugene OR. She met and married K.C. They moved to Arkansas in 1972, then in 1974 they moved to Clarendon where they lived ever since.

Shirley was active in the church. She loved to garden, and preserve food, she cooked for everyone. Her heart knew no bounds. She raised her 3 children, treated their friends like her own. She was active in raising her grandchildren. She was very vocal about the Lord and gave him praise for everything. She song like an angel. Shirley is now singing with the angels no longer in pain.
