**Obituary
Hearley Woodrow Morehead, son of Hermon Oscar Morehead and Edith Maye (Blankenship) Morehead was born July 2, 1951 in Forty Four, Arkansas.

He departed this life February 16, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 72 years 6 months and 14 days.

He is survived by one brother, Willis Morehead (Nelda) one sister, Vivian Mitchell, Michael Bentley, Matthew Bentley, and Zander Bentley of the home, and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hermon and Edith Maye Morehead, one sister, Gladis Tate, and one brother-in-law, Jeffery Mitchell.

He was a logger all his working years, working with his father, brother, and many others. He served in the Army and was stationed in Vietnam for a time. He loved making arrowheads. He and Wade Rush spent many hours looking for the right kind of flint to make them. They liked to go to arrowhead knapping meetings to learn how. He loved being in the woods and visiting with his friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 11:00am Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Combs Cemetery in Melbourne, Arkansas with Donald Gillihan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Combs Cemetery, P.O. Box 1001, Melbourne, AR 72556.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Tate, Justin Crossno, Nick Felton, Jeramy Jones, Gary Hutson, and Eric Morehead.
