Edna Coulter Pullin, 81, of Hamburg, died Monday, February 9, 2015 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Pullin was a native and life long resident of Hamburg and Ashley County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed family get-togethers at her house and she loved to fish and hunt.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Van Pullin, Jr., in 1990; her parents, Ellis & Lula Emma Hale Coulter; an infant sister, Hazel Mae Coulter; four brothers, Bervin, Bob, Ellis and Randy Coulter.
She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Cessor and husband, James; two sons, Dennis Pullin and Elmer Pullin and wife, Linda, all of Hamburg; two brothers, Larry L. Coulter and wife, Gail, of Nooksack, Washington and Troy A. Coulter and wife, Marsha, of Redding, California; two sisters, Pat Carpenter and husband, Robby, of Queens Creek, Arizona and Faye Carpenter and husband, Merschel, of Crossett; seven grandchildren, Tommy Pullin, Tammy Lovett, Timmy Pullin, Milissa Pennington, Christy Zembsch, Scott Pullin and James Cessor, Jr. and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Promise Land Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Coulter officiating. Pallbearers are Tommy Pullin, Timmy Pullin, Scott Pullin, James Cessor, Jr. and Matthew Savage. Memorials may be made to the Promise Land Cemetery, c/o JoAnne Sullivan, 318 Ashley 313 Road, Hamburg, AR 71646.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
