Deborah Louise Johnston, age 70, of Cotton Plant, Arkansas passed away on April 8, 2024. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas on March 8, 1954 to Buck and Norene Gwaltney.

Deborah was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She acted as a “Mother Hen” to so many children. She enjoyed helping others and acts of service.

Deborah is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul D. Johnston; and sister Sue Erman.

She is survived by her children Jason Johnston of Cotton Plant, Christ Johnston (Cindy) of Jenks, OK, and April Hopes of Searcy; grandchildren Shelby Johnston and Bethany Johnston of Jenks, OK and Julian Hernandez of Cotton Plant; sisters Jund Kay Case and June Elliott Wallace; her best friend Bobby Stockamp of McRae; special friend and caretaker Sue Caraway; and a host of extended friends and family.
