Frances Staggs, 91, of Harrison, Arkansas peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 9, 2023. Her oldest daughter and caregiver, Linda Kay, was at her side and stood in the stead of Frances's entire loving family.

Frances was born to Alfred Leo Coffey and Alice Louella Morse Coffey on April 16, 1932, in Henderson, Colorado. She joined her sisters and brother on the family Sugar Beet and dairy Farm. A few years later Frances would become the big sister to a little brother.

After graduating from Brighton High School in the class of 1950 she became a Telephone Switchboard Operator at the Mountain Bell Telephone Office in Brighton, Colorado. She married Donald Steggs November 27, 1960 and together they raised their two daughters. In years to follow she was the co-owner and manager of their electrical business. Kountrv Electrik, in Strasburg, Colorado. Deming New Mexico became their home in retirement. Frances made one more move to become Linda's "roommate" in 2017 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Frances loved to spend time with her family; she served in her New Mexico Church's Ladies Council; she was quite adept at Genealogy and grew extraordinary iris in the News Mexico high desert. Throughout her life she lived her deep faith and trust in Jesus Christ and shared it with a beautiful smile with everyone she knew or met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Don Staggs, her son-in-law, Richard Pumphrey, her three sisters: Georgia Newman, LeNoir Seymour, and Louise Joseph, and her two brothers: Leo George Coffey and John Jay Coffey.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Pumphrey of Harrison, Arkansas, her daughter Laura Parisi and her son-in-law Freddy Parisi, of Texas; stepchildren Merry Hansen and Joe Steggs of Colorado; her grandchildren Beau (Amy) Pumphrey of Arkansas, Matthew (Jacqueline) Paris of Texas, Jesse (Kashaena) Parisi of Texas, Calla (Kyle) Robinson of Arkansas, Justin (Denise) Parisi of New Mexico, and Sheila (Jimmy) Palotnik of Missouri; her great-grandchildren Ryan, Zoey, Grayson, and Brylon Parisi, Dylan and Kiya Parisi, Carver Robinson, and Jewel Schwartz.

A celebration of her life and faith will be held Saturday December 30, 2023, at First Lutheran Church in Harrison. A visitation at 10:30 am will precede the Memorial Service at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Hills, Harrison Arkansas
