Athciri Martinez Mondragon, 25, of Hamburg, died Monday, April 19, 2021, in an automobile accident along with her unborn son, Joel Itzae Mondragon. Mrs. Mondragon was a native of Dumas, a resident of Hamburg for the past five years, and a 2014 graduate of Dumas High School. She was a floral designer at Yours and Vine Flower Shop.
She is preceded in death by an infant son, Brandon Isaiah Mondragon in 2017; her grandparents, Albina Ballon, Luis Mondragon, Juana Mondragon.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Mondragon of Hamburg; her parents, Moises and Monica Mondragon Martinez of Dumas; a brother, Sergio Martinez of Hamburg; five sisters, Yoreli Martinez and husband, Javier, and Yesenia Martinez all of Dumas, Marisol Martinez of Hamburg, Anabel Martinez and husband, Junior, and Jenny Martinez all of Dumas; her grandfather, Benito Martinez of Mexico and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021, in the Hamburg Cemetery with Pastor Celio Coutinho officiating.
Athciri Martinez Mondragon, de 25 años, de Hamburgo, murió el lunes 19 de abril de 2021 en un accidente automovilístico junto con su hijo por nacer, Joel Itzae Mondragon. La Sra. Mondragón era nativa de Dumas, residente de Hamburgo durante los últimos cinco años y se graduó en 2014 de Dumas High School. Fue diseñadora floral en Yours and Vine Flower Shop.
