Mar 27, 1933 - May 29, 2020

Marilyn Victoria Clark, 87, went to be with the Lord May 29, 2020. She was born March 27, 1933 in Ravenden, Arkansas to Wallace and Etta Smith. Victoria graduated Sloan Hendrix High School of Imboden, AR in 1951, and continued her education through nursing school; she served as a nurse for Dr. Clark Gillespie of Little Rock, AR until she left nursing to focus on her family. Her nature of learning and of helping others drove her continued ardent study of health care, especially natural health and nutrition.

Over the years, her reputation and knowledge drew countless people who sought her out for advice that would be helpful with anything from their spiritual needs to their health concerns or conditions, including many successes with fertility challenges. Victoria loved her family, her friends, and her Lord; her Bibles were heavily used and marked up as she pursued her walk with the Lord. The notes crowding the margins of her Bibles would help you realize that she believed firmly in the abundant and free grace and love of our Lord through His son, Jesus Christ; and she would never hesitate to share such with you, given the chance to do so. In fact, there is a certainty that she will be most honored if this is what you took away from this service today.

Victoria had a life-long love and knack for growing plants and gardening. She loved raising and perfecting her dairy goat herd, and was delighted when local school kids took field trips to see her goats and livestock. She seemed happiest when she had any part in seeing others joy nurtured.

Victoria was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert E. Clark, Jr. She is survived by her husband; Robert, children; Cynthia Charton, and Earl Clark.

Services will be 1 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the chapel of Roller Chenal. There will also be a committal at grave-side following the chapel service. The family wants to be sensitive to current social distancing practices and certainly want to keep everyone safe as best they can; but they will be honored by the presence of anyone who wishes to attend.

At the chapel service, we are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral attendance to 50 people. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
