Willard Noble, 84, of Hamburg, died Friday, December 8, 2017 at Audrey’s Special Home in Hamburg. Mr. Noble was a native and life long resident of Hamburg, a graduate of Hamburg High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He was the Parts and Service Manager for Murphy Ford for over 30 years. He was a member of the North Crossett First Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Hamburg for over 44 years, where he served as a Deacon. He loved spending time outdoors, riding horses, hunting and working in his garden.

He is preceded in death by his son, Keith Noble in 2015; his parents, Horace and Effie Pennington Noble; two brothers, Glen and Gerald Noble and two sisters, Pauline Ballott and Patsy McDougald.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sybil Duckworth Noble of Hamburg; a daughter, Karen Allen and husband, Rev. Robin Allen, of Crossett; a sister, Bernice Nelms of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Amber Hill and husband, Andy, of Log Cabin, Louisiana, Alicia Johnson and husband, Alex, and Ross Allen and wife, Brook, all of Hamburg and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the North Crossett First Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Sandusky, Wayne Sandusky, Andy Hill, Ethan Hill, Ross Allen and Alex Johnson. Memorials may be made to the North Crossett First Baptist Church Building Fund, 214 Ashley Road 69, Hamburg, AR 71646.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Sybil Duckworth Noble, 83, of Hamburg, died Saturday, February 17, 2018. Mrs. Noble was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1952 and was the class Valedictorian. Mrs. Noble was a Registered Nurse and worked for the Ashley County Health Unit for 33 years. She was a member of the North Crossett First Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg for more than 40 years. She enjoyed cooking for shut-ins, hunting, fishing and doing needle work. She loved to entertain and would graciously open her home for many events.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Willard Noble in December 2017; a son, Keith Noble in 2015; her parents, Thomas Guy and Elizabeth L. Cole Duckworth; seven brothers, Hildreth, Kenneth, Tom, Larry, Bobby, Ralph and Guy Duckworth and five sisters, Edith and Myrtice Duckworth, Vivian Teppar, Gladys “Polly” Chisum and Betty Shields.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Allen and husband, Rev. Robin Allen, of Crossett; a sister, Judy Sandusky of Clarermore, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Amber Hill and husband, Andy, of Log Cabin, Louisiana, Alicia Johnson and husband, Alex, and Ross Allen and wife, Brook, all of Hamburg; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the North Crossett First Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Allen and Rev. Charles Sandusky officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ross Allen, Andy Hill, Alex Johnson, Ethan Hill, David Sandusky and Kenny Duckworth. Memorials may be made to the North Crossett First Baptist Church Building Fund, 214 Ashley Road 69, Hamburg, AR 71646.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
