Mrs. Josefina Barajas Gonzalez, 87, of Hamburg, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at her residence in Hamburg. Mrs. Gonzalez was a native of Michoacan, Mexico and a resident of Hamburg for the past 12 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hamburg First United Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by two sons, Antonio & Cecilio Gonzalez; a daughter, Rosa Gonzalez; three grandchildren, Teresa Gonzalez, Miguel Angel Mondragon and Rafael Corcoles; her parents, Leonardo Barajas and Transito Martinez and two sisters, Carmen Barajas and Salud Barajas.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Pedro Gonzalez; a son, Ysaac Gonzalez and wife, Maria, all of Hamburg; two daughters, Alicia Mondragon and husband, Fidel, of Hamburg and Rosa Corcoles and husband, Juan, of Dumas; two brothers, Antonio and Vernave Barajas both of Mexico; three sisters, Rita & Refujio Barajas both of Mexico and Matilda Barajas of Arizona; 14 grandchildren, Rosalinda Martinez and husband, Valdemar, Lucila Hernandez and husband, Ramiro, Miguel Mondragon and wife, Norma, Cecilio Mondragon and wife, Dolores, Antonia Torros and husband, Juan Manuel; Celita Brooks and husband, Kirby, Pedro Gonzalez and wife, Carolina, Alicia Cluff and husband, Ronald, Gerardo Gonzalez and wife, Anessa, Ashley Purinton and husband, Nathan, Hilda Chaves and husband, Antonio, Issac Gonzalez, Beatris Corcoles and Rosio Corcoles; 28 great-grandchildren, Crystal, Carla, Valdemar and Diego Martinez, Perla, Lizeht and Adam Hernandez, Alonandro, Isabella and Massimo Mondragon. Kayro, Tristian, Evan and Lilly Mondragon, Atcirz, Manuel and Alexandra Torres, Tyson, Saxton and Pierson Brooks, Guerann, Alondra, Bryan and Uriel Gonzalez, Gabriella Cluff, Matthew and Marshall Gonzalez and Ethan Chaves.

Funeral services are 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Townsend officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gerardo Gonzalez, Pedro Gonzalez, Issac Gonzalez, Miguel Mondragon, Antonio Chaves and Valdemar Martinez.

Pedro S. Gonzalez, 98, of Hamburg, died Sunday, February 10, 2019.
Mr. Gonzalez was a native of Las Canous Michoacan Mexico and a
resident of Hamburg for the past 19 years. He was a farm laborer and a
member of the Hamburg First United Pentecostal Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Josefina Barajas
Gonzalez in 2013; two sons, Antonio and Cecilio Gonzalez; a daughter,
Rosa Gonzalez; three grandchildren, Teresa Gonzalez, Miguel
Mondragon, and Rafael Corcoles; his parents, Delfino and Fermina
Trujillo Gonzalez.
He is survived by his children, Ysaac Gonzales, and wife, Maria, of
Hamburg, Alicia Mondragon and husband, Fidel, all of Hamburg and
Rosa Corcoles and husband, Juan, of Dumas; 14 grandchildren and 31
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019, at the Holy
Spirit Catholic Church with Father Stephen Hart as celebrant. Burial will
be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pedro Gonzalez,
Gerardo Gonzalez, Guibrann Gonzalez, Miguel Mondragon, Cecilio
Mondragon, Juan Corcoles and Valdemar Martinez.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
