CHICAGO, Ill. -- Stanley Shaul Staggs, 59, native of Fayetteville, Ark.; died on April 25, 2015, in Chicago. Born to Charles and Mayme Staggs, Stan graduated from Fayetteville H.S. and the University of Arkansas with a degree in vocal music.
A talented singer, he enjoyed entertaining onstage and in dinner theaters in Kansas City and Chicago. In addition to his love of music, he remained a loyal fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Chicago Cubs.
Throughout his life Stan was surrounded by many friends who supported him with their love and friendship in good times and bad.
Son of Mayme Simpson Staggs, of Searcy, Ark.; brother of Bill (Clara) Staggs of Hindsville, Ark. and Jan (Steve) Smith of Searcy, Ark.; uncle of many.
Private interment pending at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois, 773-281-5058 or www.cremation-society.com.
