*Obituary
Zettie Cox (our dear sweet mother, mother-in-law, Memaw, MeeMee, Aunt Zettie), 99, of the Avilla Community, received her heavenly reward Tuesday, Dec. 22. She was born July 25, 1921, in Reform, Arkansas, to the late Noah and Elta Louallen.
Zettie was preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Cox; a son, Harold (Bubby); two daughters, Joan and Diannia; and eight sisters, Nettie, Gordie, Eunice, Alma, Louise, Melba, Genevieve and Edith.
She leaves to cherish her memories a son, Norris and wife, Donna; a grandson, Chad; a great-grandson, Dalton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all who knew and loved Zettie to remember the special times spent with her - especially the wonderful home-cooked meals she graciously prepared for all she loved. If you ever stopped by you could count on always sitting down to a slice of homemade pie or cake and enjoying a cup of coffee with her. You never left the house hungry. If you did it was your own-fault.
She was a faithful member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Benton. Zettie loved her church family.
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the family has decided best not to have a visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, at Walnut Bottoms Cemetery in Paron. Pastor Jay Emerson will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her church, Apostolic Tabernacle Church at 2314 Military Rd. in Benton.

Family Comments: A special "Thank You" to Amberwood Health and Rehabilitation, the staff, nurses and caregivers for all their care and love given to our Zettie over the past year - especially during this most difficult year. May God bless each and every one of you.
