Betty Sue Diles Peachey Halstead, 77 of El Dorado passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.
Betty was born May 26, 1940 in Little Rock Arkansas to the union of James Robert "J.R." Diles and Ora Estelle Turley Diles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Oscar Robert Peachey, Jr. and a sister, Shirley Ann Diles Hall.
Betty graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and was of the Christian Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Alison L Peachey one son, Robert Brian Peachey and wife Judy, two sisters, Claudia Frances Rogers and Jamie Diles, five grandchildren, Brianna N. Peachey, Charlie Dyer, Rachelle Baltazar, Isaac Nesbitt and Larissa Faulknor , five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Bailey Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado, with Bro. Bill Odom officiating. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR.
Pallbearers will be Tony Hall, Billy Hall, Rodney Gray, Nathan Gray, Charlie Dyer and Walter Mullikin.
Special thanks to all of her Hudson family who took such great care of her for many years.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to S.I.G.H.T. 4630 Magnolia Hwy. El Dorado, AR 71730. (Bailey Funeral Home - El Dorado, Arkansas)
