Darlene Rose Burrell, 82, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in a local hospital.
She was a retired cook for the Fort Smith Public Schools, a former employee of Joe McCutchen Pharmacy, Dan McCutchen Pharmacy and Vaughn Pharmacy. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a part time member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Cookson, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Burrell in 1994 and one brother, Ed Musser.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Rosary services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow the rosary.
She is survived by two sons, Denver Burrell and his wife Kay of Keller, TX and George Burrell and his wife, Tammy of Roland, OK; two sisters, her twin Arlene Geeseman of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tilly Albertson of Evansville, IA; three grandchildren, Holly Carchesio and her husband Tony of Keller, TX, Nicholas and John Burrell both of Roland, OK; one great-grandson, Max Carchesio of Keller, TX and one adopted granddaughter, Jacklynn Hunt of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be John and Nicholas Burrell, Jacklynn Hunt, Bryan Gantt.
